Where is Prophet grave

Medina is a place where Prophet S.A.W is buried along with His two Friends and first caliphs of Islam Hazrati Abu Bakr Siddiq and Hazrat Umar ibn Khattab. In Arabic the tomb of prophet Muḥammad is also known as Al-Hujra al-Nabawiyya i.e the chamber of the prophet, Al-Hujra al-Sharīfa i.e. the noble chamber, Al-Kabir Al-sharīf i.e. the noble grave, or Al-Rawḍah i.e. the garden. The Prophet's dome is located in the southeast corner of Masjid Nabvi. The northern and southern sides of the chamber are 16 meters long whereas its eastern and western sides are 15 meters long. The Prophet's grave is surrounded by walls with four doors i.e. Bab al-Tahajjud, Bab al-Tawba, Bab Aisha, and Bab Fatima however, Bab Fatima is the only door that is used to enter the Sacred Chamber but only those permitted by the Saudi government. Although it has Mawajaha ie. three viewing holes facing into the Holy Chamber so pilgrims can have a look through these holes and can greet Prophet Muhammad S.A.W, Abu Bakr R.A, and Umrah Bin Khatab R.A. The first hole located on the left-hand side of the Mawajaha directly faces the blessed Prophet S.A.W and in between the first hole and the other two holes, there is a door that is known as the Door of Aisha Sidiqah R.A that remains closed. After moving slightly toward the right, you will be able to see the hole where Abu Bakr Sidique R.A is buried and the third hole faces Umrar Bin Khatab R.A. Prophet's grave is at a place that was the House of Aisha R.A and the exact spot where Prophet S.A.W died.
Initially, the walls of the Prophets dome were 3 meters high and were mainly made from wood however, in 1481 CE/886 AH, after the second great fire of Masjid Nabavi, Sultan al-Ashraf Qaitbay (RA) reconstructed these walls by using iron railings that we are able to see today as well. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), with regard to visiting the Rawdah Mubarak and performing Ziyarah, said, “When a person stands at my grave reciting blessings on me, I hear it; and whoever calls for blessings on me in any other place, his every need in this world and in the hereafter is fulfilled, and on the day of Qiyamah I shall be his witness and intercessor.” [Bayhaqi].

What is inside the Sacred Chamber

The chamber is divided into two sections one is the outer chamber and the other is the inner chamber.
1. Inner Chamber: It is a place where the graves of prophet S.A.W, Abu Bakr R.A, and the Umrah Bin Khatab are placed. These graves are a place that was the House of Aisha R.A. It is witnessed that the inner chamber has no doors and windows and thus can't be assessed by anyone. Ali ibn Ahmad al-Samhudi was the last person that entered the inner chamber and was assigned to clean the graves after a major fire broke out in Masjid Nabawi that took place almost 500 years ago in 886 AH / 1481 CE.
2. Outer Chamber: The house of the Fatima Zehra R.A. consists of an outer chamber. However, only the officials have access to this area where they can touch the cloth that hangs on this wall, but can’t go beyond this.
The first Shrine In the history of Islam, the first shine that was built was the place where Prophet S.A.W died which is known as Masjid Nabvi. Prophet's grave is at a place that was the House of Aisha R.A and the exact spot where Prophet S.A.W died because the Prophet said, "Prophets are buried where they die." After the death of Abu Bakr R.A Aisha R.A had his father, buried here. But before the death of Umrah Bin Khatab, He granted permission from Aisha R.A for His burial in the Masjid Nabvi. She R.A granted Him R.A permission for His burial. After the death of Umar Bin Khatab Aisha R.A. drew a cloth and lived in a 3-meter (9.8-foot) high room. But after the death of Aisha R.A., she was not buried there because Prophet Muhammad said that Jesus A.S will come down to earth near the Day of Recursion and after His death, He would be buried next to himself. This saying occurs in as-Sunan al-Tirmidhi and Sunan al-Darimi. The positions of the graves are said to be, the Prophet S.A.W is forward, Abu Bakr is near His head and Umar is near His feet.
