Umrah Age Requirements

Umrah is a sacred journey that is a dream of every Muslim to perform once in their Entire Life. In order to Perform Umrah, there is No Such Umrah age restrictions or we can say that there is No Specific Age in which you have to perform Umrah. If you are Financially Capable and Physically Able to perform Umrah you can perform Umrah at any time At Any Age.
For Women, there is No Such Umrah age Limit but Women cannot perform Umrah Without His Mahram. A Mahram is a Male Relative tied to a woman through blood, breastfeeding, or relations after marriage. The purpose of Mahram is just to Provide Security and comfort to Muslim women. Moreover according to the Saudi rules women without Mahram Cannot Receive An Umrah Visa.
There can be Certain Umrah Age Restriction which can have due to the various Natural Calamities or Epidemics or Pandemics so if we talk about Covid 19 Saudi had put Certain Umrah Age limit on performing Umrah. The Umrah age limit within the Kingdom has been increased to the Maximum limit of 70 Years from the previous 50 years. According to authorities, the pilgrim, within the kingdom, must be between the Age Of 18 And 70. The age restrictions for the Umrah pilgrims outside the kingdom must be between the Age Of 18 And 6 5. The Saudi health minister had also announced that those who want to Perform Umrah and Hajj after Covid 19 are advised to take the COVID-19 Vaccine. In addition to the age requirement, pilgrims will also be required to adhere to Strict Health Protocols.
