Yes, children are allowed inside Masjid Haram. There is no restriction on bringing children to this holy place. However, it is important that they respect the sanctity of the mosque, as it is one of the most sacred places on Earth. Many families bring their children to Masjid Haram during their Umrah and Hajj making them understand the importance of the ritual as well as of the Masjid Haram. However, there are a few considerations to keep in mind when bringing children into the mosque.

Respect and Conduct: Everyone is allowed to visit Masjid Haram regardless of their age however, is important for parents or guardians to ensure that the children behave respectfully inside the mosque. Physical Considerations: As the rituals of the Umrah and Hajj are physically demanding parents should make sure to make their children understand the importance of Umrah and Hajj so that they could be able to make some of their rituals on their own. Every Muslim is allowed inside Masjid Al Haram whether that is a kid, child, an adult or a senior citizen. If they allow the children to visit inside Masjid Haram then nobody can stop them but if they don’t allow children inside Masjid Al Haram they won’t be allowed to visit on any cost. However, usually everybody is allowed to visit the Masjid Al Haram for Tawaf and prayers but mostly it depends on the government of the Saudi Arabia.
